How to Remote View a Customer' Computer in the WebConsole

Use Remote View to view the screen of the customer's device.

Before you begin: Requirements:

The agent's Technician Group must have permission to launch remote control sessions.

The session must be Active.

  1. On the Technician Console Customer Desktop tab, select View desktop.
  2. Use the Remote Control toolbar to manage the remote session.

    Result: All other Workspace tabs remain available.

  3. To end remote view, click the red X End Remote View on the Desktop Viewing toolbar.

    Result: Remote view ends, but the session remains active.
