Working with Recordings

Rescue Live Guide can optionally make a recording of all on-screen activity during a Rescue Live Guide session and store it in the cloud.

Note: The availability of the Session recording feature depends on an account-level setting in the Rescue Live Guide Admin Center.

Creating Session Recordings

When an agent belonging to an account for which session recording is enabled starts a Rescue Live Guide shared browsing session, session recording automatically begins.

Recording stops when the session ends.

Playing Session Recordings

Note: Rescue Live Administrators have access to all the recordings created during sessions conducted by any agent of their organization, while agents can only see recordings created during their own shared browsing sessions.

Soon after the recorded session ends, the session recording becomes available in the Recording field of the Reporting tab of the Rescue Live Guide Agent Web Console.

To stream the recording, hover over the recording you want to play, and click the PLAY icon.
