How to View General System Information for a Mobile Device

    This article gives guidance to Rescue technicians.

    Before you begin:

    The agent's Technician Group must have permission to view system information.

    The session must be Active.

    1. On the System Info tab, click Dashboard.

      Result: The system info Dashboard is displayed.

    2. Click Request Information to retrieve data from the customer's device.

      Result: The customer may be prompted to accept or decline your request.

    3. The following view-only information is available, depending on the customer's operating system.
      Android Apple iOS
      System Information Yes Yes Chat session type only!
      OS Yes Yes Chat session type only!
      Default Browser Path No No
      Device model Yes Yes Chat session type only!
      Device screen Yes Yes Chat session type only!
      Device PIN No No
      Locale and Time Zone No No
