How to Switch Between Multiple Active Sessions
This article gives guidance to Rescue technicians.
Use the Active Session tabs to switch between up to ten concurrent sessions.
- Click on the session you want to work with.
Result: You will be able to support the customer using the Technician Console tabs and workspace.
CAUTION: For Private Sessions, the name shown on the Session tab is the name you enter in the Generate New Session dialog box when you create the session. If you do not enter a name or other identifier when you create a session, then the Active Session tab for that session will be labeled “Customer”. - Other options for switching sessions:
- Click the Chat panel belonging to the target customer's session
- Click the target session in the Session List
Results:
Note: The time shown on the Active Session tab is the elapsed time for the current session status.
Tip: You can maintain ten active sessions at a time. Since On Hold sessions do not count as Active, the hold feature gives you flexibility when managing multiple sessions.
