How Can Customers Enable Accessibility Service for the LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile Remote Support Android app
This article gives guidance to Rescue technicians.
Customers using Android devices need to follow the procedure detailed here the first time they launch the LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile Android app to enable the required Accessibility settings.
Important: Any customer who installs and uses the LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile Android app after May 1, 2023 have to click through the accessibility flow EVERY TIME they start a remote control session. The limitation does not apply to existing users.
- Ask the customer to navigate to the Accessibility settings of their device by following instructions displayed on their screen.
- In Accessibility settings, they need to select and open LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile.
Note: The appearance of Accesibility settings may vary on different Android brands.
- Ask the customer to enable accessibility for LogMeIn Rescue+Mobile.
Note: The appearance of Accesibility settings may vary on different Android brands.
- Ask the customer to allow remote control by tapping Allow.
Note: The appearance of Accesibility settings may vary on different Android brands.
- Ask the customer to allow screen sharing by tapping Start Now.
