How Can Customers Enable Accessibility Service for the Rescue+Mobile Remote Support Android app
This article gives guidance to Rescue technicians.
Customers using Android devices need to follow the procedure detailed here the first time they launch the Rescue+Mobile Android app to enable the required Accessibility settings.
Important: Any customer who installs and uses the Rescue+Mobile Android app after May 1, 2023 have to click through the accessibility flow EVERY TIME they start a remote control session. The limitation does not apply to existing users.
- Ask the customer to navigate to the Accessibility settings of their device by following instructions displayed on their screen.
- In Accessibility settings, they need to select and open Rescue+Mobile.
Note: The appearance of Accesibility settings may vary on different Android brands.
- Ask the customer to enable accessibility for Rescue+Mobile.

- Ask the customer to allow remote control by tapping Allow.
Note: The appearance of Accesibility settings may vary on different Android brands.
- Ask the customer to allow screen sharing by tapping Start Now.
