Communication Error in Rescue Tech Console and Site Inaccessible
Depending on what browser you use, this is what you should do if you cannot access secure.logmeinRescue.com or you receive a communication error in the Tech Console.
Symptoms
- You experience issues when accessing secure.logmeinRescue.com
- You receive a communication error in the Tech Console when accessing secure.logmeinRescue.com
Solution
Internet Explorer
Modify your Internet Explorer settings to enforce at least TLS 1.2.
- In IE, click .
- Go to the Advanced tab.
- Scroll to the security portion in the Settings window. Remove the check marks for SSL, and ensure that TLS 1.2 is selected.
- Click Apply and restart the browser.
- Restart the Technician Console.
Add trusted sites to IE.
- In IE, click .
- Go to the Security tab.
- Select Trusted Sites and then click the Sites button.
- Add the following sites: *.logmein.com; *.logmeinRescue.com, *.accounts.logme.in
- Save your changes.
- Restart the Tech Console.
