How to Track the Language of Customers with the Instant Chat-enabled Channel Form
The ICLoader.Language field may contain the language of the customer which helps technicians decide if they want to start a session with the customer or transfer it to someone else who speaks that language.
- In the Administration Center, go to the Channels tab.
- Copy the sample code from the Custom Live Support Forms with self-hosted Instant Chat text box.
- Modify the value of the ICLoader.Language parameter in the following line:
ICLoader.Language = "ENG"; /* optional */
The value parameter of the ICLoader.Language field can be 5-characters long by default and can contain any characters.
- Paste the modified code sample into the HTML code of your website.
